Can i take scrap metal in a car to scrapyard?
10 Answers
If transporting old metal to a scrap yard, does it have to be loaded on a van or trailer or is a car ok? I've heard you just drive onto the weighbridge but will it matter about being in a car? Sounds stupid but im new to this so would appreciate the help. Ta.

Well I went to the yard thinking i had at least a tenners worth of metal, then they offered me 30p for the lot! Load of merchants! It was heavy steel! I ended up taking it to the tip. 30p! You see these vans driving round collecting odds n sods and they dont seem to have anything large, just lots of small stuff. How can you make a living from this?
