MOT info
There is a website where you can find out whether a vehicles has a valid MOT - but I can't seem to find it. I got it off here last time, but forgot to save it. Any help greatly appreciated.

To ensure checks are made by those with a legitimate interest in the vehicle, you require access to either an MOT test number from a test certificate or the reference number from the V5C.

Thanks, but it's none of these. It's an 'unofficial' one, but has the disclaimers about incorrect usage. The problem is that we are a small finance company, therefore we have a legitimate interest in all of the vehicles we finance (because we own them) but in most cases we don't have the V5, as it is registered to our customer (so we don't get all of the speding tickets, parking fines etc). If we reach repossession stage, we need to know whether they are MOT'd prior to repossession, but obviously the relationship with the customer has already broken down so we can't simply ask them.
