Squeaky Astra
I have a 1998 Astra 1.8 estate. I keep getting a loud squealing noise from one of the offside wheels. (I think it's the back wheel.) It only comes on when I've done a few miles, and stops when I brake or turn left! (Also stops if I apply the handbrake slightly while driving.) Garage can't find the problem as it never happens when I take it to a mechanic... Could it be a wheel bearing or something? The noise gets so loud, it's really embarrassing! Thanks.
