If you'd like a comparison tc, the tyres for my 32T tipper truck are about �215 +VAT each (and I've got 12!). The most expensive one's I've seen are on a CAT 789 dumptruck (115T empty, payload 250T) and in 1990 they cost �25,000... each!
Fair point... there are more expensive tyres... but they last longer than 30-40 miles

Thanks everyone. The most expensive tyre I've come across is the one arround my waist 40years of guzzeling beer currently �2.50 a pint!
