Any suggestions for fixing the following please -

1. The blower control for the air inside does not work on the first two settings - only on the third setting

2. There is only wam air for a few seconds when the blower control is switched on - then it turns to cool air

To get any warm air again , you have to switch the control off - leave for a moment - switch on again - then you get a few seconds of warm air again - then it turns to cool air again

Hi, the contacts for the control at the rear of the dash wants cleaning, the air / heat mayby the heater control valve under the bonnet , Has the car run out of water at any tiime? thus causing an air lock? check your heater hoses under the bonnet to see if they are hot, check you have water in the system ( CHECK THIS WITH THE ENGINE COLD ) The thermostat may need replacing as it is not opening if you are handy at repairs this is not a big job but again, ( DO THIS WITH THE ENGINE COLD)

1.....You need to fit a new resistor pack to get all fan speeds working, this is usually next to the fan motor.

just got Oasis tickets there for slane in ireland. Cool man

check for air locks, this could also be early signs of a possible head gasket failure, keep an eye on the water colour and also the temp gauge. if gauge says hot but heater says not then I would get a compression test carried out.
