renault clio not starting

hi, i have a 1.4 T reg clio, it is inconsistant when starting, some times the immobiliser does not de-activate as the red light on the dash board keeps flashing, it seems like its not recognising my key. The starter motor turns over but it does not fire. I have replaced the battery twice, it has not solved the problem! Any ideas?

TRY closing and opening the doors a couple of times and then try starting it, best o9f luck.
