garage warranty work
2 Answers
Recently had the rear crankshaft seal on my discovery replaced at a garage and it is now leaking again ( worse than before it was fixed). Unfortunately it was leaking into the bellhousing, so no telltale signs of a leak until I was doing other work on the car and removed a plug in the bellhousing only to get covered in oil that shouldn't have been there.because of the leak been hidden the cr has been driven with very low oil and probably done some damage to the engine. The car has done less than 300 miles since the work was done but the garage involved is denying any liability. What should be the next step to try and resolve this problem. At the moment I'm furious at the attitude of the garage owner and I'm tempted to take this to court.
