Me neither doc - I don't mind being called a Brit (that won't be asterisked out). Call me an Eng - I'd be okay with that. I don't even object to being called a Yellowbelly, as in Lincolnshire Yellowbelly - can you imagine the uproar though if Prince H called a chinese fellow soldier a Yellowbelly?

Maybe you're not old enough to understand the recent history behind the word - usually followed by 'go home'; 'bashing' or 'ba-stud', or preceded by the word 'no'.
