Changing Polo radio

Is it a straightforward operation to replace an original radio/cassette player with a CD player on an X reg Polo?
Will the connection blocks be the same ?

Any help gratefully received.

Yep it is pretty easy. I have no idea of the layout of a Polo but you will normally need 3 things, a set of "keys" to get the current radio out, a facia plate which will be change the dashboard fitting in to the standard size one and finally a connector cable which will convert the VW connections into the standard ones.

All three are available from the Halfords.
