Imobilizer problems
Hi I brought a rover 216 cab but it came without a keyfob and now the imobilizer has kicked in is there anyway around the problem without a key fob? Thanks

I'm affraid you are in deep poo from here on, as changing or bypassing the ignition lock/barrel won't help, as every thing is encrypted on the Rover to the electonic ignition.
it can be done by an auto electician, but will be very expensive,
Try yellow pages and contact some auto alarm chap, some of them are quite good, or they may be able to point you in the right direction,
