Dual speed mobility scooter
7 Answers
I have had this type of Scooter for just over 2 years. Soon after I got it, DVLA decided it must be registered so my OH and I had to queue for over 2 hours to do so and then I was sent a tax disc 'which must be displayed on the scooter'. Ever since, we have been trying to find some sort of holder for the tax disc to be displayed but without success, as all holders require to be seen through glass, or in the case of motor cycles bolted on.
Has anyone got any idea how my tax disc could be displayed so I am not breaking the law?

It looks like I will have no option but to have something bolted to the scooter although I would prefer not to make holes on it.
Personally, I think the whole situation is ridiculous and there is always the chance someone will attempt to steal the disc.
However, I 'phoned DVLA yesterday and they hadn't a clue and said no one else had ever asked how they attach the disc.
Thank you for your input.
