we need to convert the rear indicators of a 2001 lincoln town car to full EC compliance . How does the existing indicator wiring interact with the brake lamp circuit . any sugestions on modifying please.

I know what you mean as I've just come back from a holiday in Canada & USA. I have 3 American cars, the 2 Camaros have the orange lenses on the rear, but on the Chrysler Laser someone has tastefully fitted indicator lenses on the rear bumper. Do you have a workshop manual for it? You could go on ebay.co.uk and under the american car section look for Lincoln town cars / strectched limos and use the "ask seller a question" feature. I hope this helps.
