4getmenot is often dreaming of things before they happen, friends in car accidents and the like.
But yesterday i got a bit spooked.

Coming back from a shopping trip, Mr CRX was driving, little CRX piped up from the back "slow down daddy" (we were doing 55-60mph). Mr CRX laughed and said we werent going too fast.

"no" said little one "press the brakes, now, or we will skid across the road, slide on the grass and hit the tree"

I told mr CRX to slow a bit as it unerved me a bit.

10 miles down the road we went around a bend to see 2 police cars with lights flashing, skid marks across the road, over other carriageway, skid marks across a grassy area and 20ft across that a car wrapped around a tree.

all occupants ok as we found out later from the fire crew.

in fact sayin that if the kids tell me to go slower i always do for the simple reason i never know what could happen or what they are really thinking!

Bout 6 years ago myself and the ex where driving off out somewhere (cant really remember where) we got to the traffic lights and all of a sudden she said turn left, it was not the direct way to go and kinda would take you on a detour, i kicked up and all she said is there is something going to happen, bout 5 mins down the road a young lad (6-10) ran out in front of the car coming the other direction, we where about 40 foot away. Scared the living day lights out of me, it was as if she knew. We both have first aid trainig, the other female driver just panacked! The para medics said if we had not been there or been able to help it could have been worse. The lad ended up with a broken arm. Spooky!

nafl, little CRX has asked me to slow about 4 times and ive alwasy done so, but hes never said why, like he did yesterday.

the starnge thing was, when we went past the accident, blue lights everywhere and a car smashed into a tree, he didnt say a word. He would normally get excited seeing police cars etc, like any 3 year old would

oooh roaldo, that sent shivers through me.
Little CRX went rhough a phase at about 18-24 months of seeing a man in the house that no-one else could see. He would say that the man was outside my office door (where we would spend the day) and then he'd go and watch the man going across the landing and into little CRXs room. He was alwasy very nervy when he told me this and clingy, but once the man went hed be back to normal.
we also had to throw a toy out of the house because it would start up on its own. when we got rid of it, another toy started doing the same thing.
