I have broken my left leg and it is in a cast from the knee down. As I have an automatic car and therefore do not use my left foot to drive it, does anyone know if I will be breaking the law if I drive.
No specific offence. If something goes pear shaped as a result of you driving with a broken leg, e.g. you slip off the clutch becaue of the cast and crash, then you are not in control and WDC or DD could result.
There is only the cause of insurance I can see here 007, ( I hope this does not happen to you) BUT if you were to be involved in an accident could you get out of the car Quickly? would your leg obstruct anything quickly to get you out? My advice for your own piece of mind ask your Insurance if you do not & something did happen your or the other party's insurance would jump on this without a doubt.
