mitsubishi door switch

Hi is there anyone out there can help me,am trying to
figure out how to remove the window switch on the arm rest which operates the window,drivers side.
the switch itself is housed in a plastic insert,do i have to remove the door panel?.
my car its a mitsubishi space star 2002.

Hi, I would not have thought so, they usually slide into the recess then clamp into place by the switch carrier itself. Use a small flat blade driver to remove it & also put some cloth down to help you not to scratch the cloth/plastic.
