where is the best place to sell fiesta diesel 2001,have advertised in local paper at a resonable price but no phone calls.

Take it to any local dealers.
I'm in the trade myself and trust me, Fiesta diesels are good news to sell on at the moment, although as a 2001 old shape yours is not as in demand.
You won't get as much money as a private sale but if you want to sell then try them out.
Alternativley autotrader and ebay are ok.
