Hi, once again, another problem. Had my car serviced couple of weeks ago, they said i had a water leak which i knew about, just didn't know where from, anyway, they said it was either the radiator or the radiator switch. Today, i got them both replaced and the water is still leaking, so i spent 110 for nothing. Can anyone tell me every where in my car where the water could be leaking from, including every pipe, etc. I have a vauxhall corsa 1998 1.2 8v.

Thanks

Pete

Hi, for a start off they have cost you unnecessary expense I would have a word about that, there are 2 pipes to the rad, 0ne going to the thermostat+ one coming into the rad from the bottom hose, there are 2 heater hoses to view inside the engine area, the leak may be coming from the core plugs at the rear side of the engine block. there is also a possibility that it is coming from the head, clean down the engine fully ( Power wash) then check.

hi pete have you started the engine and got yourself underneath the car to try and spot where its leaking??
head gasket every time.
possible head gasket failure, check oli cap for any sign of white milky moisture if you say the waters not leaking out anywhere on the road its because your head gaskets naffed get it checked before youwreck it altogether
