Vauxhall CD Radio compatability

I have a P reg Vauxhall Astra with a radio / cassette player.

I would like to replace it with a radio CD player, either from a breakers, or off e bay.

There are quite a few on e bay, with or without codes.

Will any Vauxhall one of the right size work in my car, or are there any compatability issues?

If I got one without a code, how much would I expect to pay to get the code?

So long as the dimensions are correct any ICE unit will work
