Does anyone know of a town (not a city) in Britain that holds an annual competition for singers. I should think it a well known competition not a local one but I keep drawing a blank. Thank you.

what about the Llangollen musical Eisteddfod which is an international singing competition and has nothing to do with the national Eisteddfod?
