Vauxhall astra cold start problem

I have a 1995 vauxhall astra that doesnt like to start in cold weather. It starts fine when warm. I have just had the head reconditioned, so it isnt a compression problem Any ideas

if it's got a carb it sounds like a problem with the choke,is it petrol or deisel?

Take it for a tune up, they usually sort this out!

get the battery checked if youve had it sometime its probably at the end of life        have you tried holding your clutch peddle down when starting this decreases the load on your starter moter
