For the last 2 mornings my car has started OK, but after the switching the engine off after about 5 minutes driving (to nip into the shop etc) It wont start again.

Last morning it started after about 10 minutes but taking longer today.

Its fine throughout the day/evening - just seems to be in the morning.

Any guesses?

update: As its the mrs driving she neglected to tell me the car wasnt turning over. Think its a starter motor/solenoid problem.
i would be inclined to get the battery checked first as this is the cheapest component if only just to eliminate it ..many accessory shops offer this service..
