Is it true that the tinted windows on Shearings coaches are much darker than other coaches so you can't see the sheer terror on the passengers faces..Our Lochs & Glens driver says it is !!

Probably some truth in it. The worse thing Wallace Arnold did was to let Shearing take over their business. WA customers innocently transferred their custom to Shearing but are now leaving in their droves. Come back WA, all is forgiven.
