Renault Espace Auto Gearbox

I have a 1995 Espace V6 with auto transmission. This ia an intermittent fault. It has started to hold in gear then jump into gear suddenly when moving off. Suspect fluid levels but terrified of using wrong fluid etc.. and cannot find the correct gearbox tech advice. Can anyone help please?

Hi, If you contact your local Renault dealership they will tell you, alternative, any spares shop will advise you, do not use crp as you will pay the long term price, have a look beneath the car is there signs of fluid loss? ( Red Oil) if that's the case poss pipe joints "O" sealing washers, pipe has gone porous, the level should be checked with the engine running! have you done this? going off my own foreign car the oil has to be pressure inserted & that can be a problem if you have not got the right tools there are site that give out your requirements, check the Web, type in Eg/ Renault Espace Auto Problems.
