RTA with no mot two cars are writen off

hello

i was over taking and went head on into a oncoming car. they are both wrote off i think.
i hav fully comp insurance, tax, but cant find my mot cert which was an english one the car is now n.ireland reg. i hav up todate pics of the car and a garage recipt to say she was mot prepd.it was running out in december.

will the insurance still cover me and will i get fpns/fines from the police.

If you can get to the garage who did the MOT they can print you off a duplicate copy of the MOT.
It's all on computer these days.
The MOT won't get you off the dangerous driving charge though.
There shouldn't be any problems with the MOT. They are entered on computer now when issued - when I taxed my car over the phone, there was a short wait while the computer checked that I had both current MOT and insurance. I'm sure the DVLA must have details of your MOT. Ask the garage for a copy if you have the receipt.

sorry the car was bought out off england with an english mot (hand writen cert). then i re regd over here in .ni and taxed at same time but cant find and cops hav done check on n.i computer and not showing over here.

do use think i will get done for dangerous or careless driving.

MOTs in the UK have not been handwritten for years.
