Trying to start a 'dead' scooter?
I have a 50CC scooter and it hasn't been used for several months. I need to get the thing running again but am having trouble getting it going. The battery - understandably - was dead, but it was charged, put back into the scooter and everything looked good; the horn worked, the lights popped on and the electric starter also worked, but this thing just does not want to get going. Whether using the electric starter or the manual start, this thing just doesn't want to start. Sometimes, if I am lucky, it might come to life, but it doesn't sound as powerful as normal (if that makes sense) and it will die within 5-10 seconds. It does have sufficient oil and a full tank of fuel.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
