Anyway to answer your question, if you can't fit a Austin Metro in a garage then what's it for.. Dinky? Corgi? Matchbox? LOL
I've owned a 1981 Austin miniMetro 1.0 HLE and it was fun to drive (cornering is good). I've had a Fiat Panda 1.0S (will **** up on 2 wheels if pushed). I've also had a 1987 D, Renault 5 TC (1 litre) which was the best out of the three small cars I've had. I pushed it hard into corners, but one day when it was wet it went sideways at 40mph, and that was with 185/70x13 tyres (not the skinny 155's). No damage was done but I sold it when I bought a 5 litre american muscle car as driving it then became so boring in comparison LOL.
I have a Haynes workshop manual somewhere, so I will look it up for you EmmaB and post it later.
