Transit Diesel.......Battery size

Been having difficulty even getting info from the net. None of the well known companies seem to advertise batteries [ possibly because of shipping problems?]

What amperage battery would a 2.5 diesel need?    The present battery is only 60amp and freezing to death. It`s about the same size as my Escort and won`t even jump start.

My 1.9 diesel Golf has a 70Ah battery so yours is definitely too small. Perhaps a 90Ah may be closer to what you need. Someone should be along to give you the right answer, if not, snoop around a Ford dealers and have a look under a bonnet or two.

for a transit diesel you need type 063 with 380amps cranking power
