landrover freelander passenger wiper.

Hi can anyone help,i need this done as quickly and cheaply as possible. My passenger wiper is not working,drivers is working but sounds a bit echoy. passenger not moving at all, lift the arm and very loose,guy at motor shop said i might of snapped something,but it might be dealer part,with fitting i'm looking at hundreds. any idea's on problem and cost thanks.

sounds like the arm has come loose or snapped best to do it your self also try scrap yard for the part .it happened to me on my vauxhall

have you tried tightening the nut up where the wiper attaches to the car?

Why not hand your passenger a tissue then they can wipe themselves. Personally I never wipe my passengers.

Check that the nut on the end of the spline is tight, possible that the linkage ball joint has come off due to wear, you should be able to see the connecting arms from under the bonnet. if none of these, check the spline within the arm itself.
