Hello, this is the first time I have posted on here so I hope I am doing it correctly! I am doing a quiz with the loose title of 'Wheels within Wheels'
The answers are all an item/object that has wheels or something( or even someone) to do with wheels...to some extent and they are divided into different sections. If the 'wheel' is featured in the clue then it will not necessarily be in the answer.
I only have a few left and it has to be in by the weekend so I thought I would see if anyone on here can help me out......
These first two seem to be in a section to do with sports and pastimes
" involve much head- scratching and car chasing" T H
"Formula One doesn't provide all his thrills" M M
This next one is a section to do with modes of transport in one way or another
" rides in this led to very sticky ends" T
This one is in a books and literature section
"certainly not set on Crewe station" T
and these last ones are in a mixed/miscellaneous section
"ideal for the the casual date?" P-UT
"does it hold the franchise in paradise?" TGW
"Bessies Smith's driver was not expected to do this!" S
Thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction
Wow..I am amazed, I posted these questions and within 10 minutes the majority of them have been answered! Thanks everyone, all of your answers seem perfectly explanatory to me! I love the "ideal for the the casual date?" P-UT - Pick-up truck, I was thinking way to deep on that one
I'm still unsure on the Besie Smith one, both sleep and survive seem good answers.
