There are too many vairables, postcode, age of driver, occupation, points, car type, convictions etc for anyone to tell you.

Thanks, I have tried confused.com and now Adrian Flux but I don't want to leave all my details such as my birthday, telephone number, what I had for breakfast etc. I just want a site where I can find a cheap quote and no reps calling me back !

adrian flux wont call you back. theyll give you quote and thatll be it.

They will all want to know your date of birth.

After spending most of an evening trying differing comapre sites etc I went with Aviva via their own site which saved me over £100 compared to my renewal quote! Worth spending time shopping around but not on the compare sites. Good luck

I know it sounds stupid, but sometimes comprehensive is cheaper than third party, particularly if you select a high excess.

Also most of the comparison sites have an option on one of the later pages to ensure no one contacts you.

Oh and the big thing is they employ human beings that sort you out if you have a claim, Go Compare were terrible.

Amazingly you can even speak to a human being not based in India called Laurence or Natalie. Both of whom seem to have broaden Indian accents!
