Hubby has just bought a used Ford Focus and although we can tell it is green is there anyway of finding out exactly what shade of green Ford call it. The Registration document just says green so that is no help.

Ask a Ford dealer.  Say you may want some touch-up paint of the correct colour.

there should be a VIN plate under the bonnet near the front which describes various things about your car, if i remember right your colour code would be on that you would have to take the code to a paint supplier or sprayer for further information. hope this helps.

from 98 the light green is called aqua frost
from 53 plate light green metallic is vitro metallic
dark greens are pacific green metallic
neptune green metallic
new dark green is honor green metallic

Honour Green is the darkish one.

Bit like British Racing Green.

Aqua Marine is the older light one, pale metalic colour.

we have actually found this colour now, it is Jewel Green, but many thanks to all who replied.
