are mobile phones sold as seen

got upgrade last week not happy with it ie battery charged everyday ,no wifi as described.phone shop manager said sold as seen.is it? goin to shop today so need answer pdq. going with copy of sale of goods act!!!

hi yes it was a new phone and oh yes i have the sale of goods act!!! the manager was quite defensive on the phone the other day and is he going to get it today!!!! wish me luck!

if i was going to complain it would be about the wifi that you say was advertised. some of the modern phones today do not have a great battery life. best of luck

If it is true "phone shop manager said sold as seen" then my guess is it was NOT new.

If it WAS new why would they say that.

It may have been returned by another person (maybe faulty?) and the manager has tried to palm it off to another customer.

Can you let us know how you get on. My friend had the same problem and didnt try to get a refund. Should have been stronger minded like you.

hi all! well i did it!!! got a different phone!!! manager insisted sold as seen so quoted sale of goods act.criminal to sell sold as seen ,my rights etc..kept calm no raised voice or effing and jeffing!!! he relented in the end said his manager wouldnt be pleased but hey ho!!! power to kazziebabes!
