how do i change my skys wep/wap key?

My friend took the wep key off the back of my sky box, and now everytime i turn my internet on she can use my connection, I want to change the wep key to my own password so she cant use it anymore can someone tell me step by step how to do this?

Log into your router: http://192.168.0.1 user name admin, password sky.

Your WEP key is somewhere in there - Wireless Configuration I think.

Change it, and save the settings.

You will need to connect your PC to the router with a cable rather than wirelessly to do this - I'm pretty sure your wireless connection will drop as soon as the WEP key...

My god - I feel so old - I don't even understand dee's question
To be honest, you really should have WPA-PSK II security for a secured wireless network. You can choose the type of security when you log in to your router settings as advised above.

Your wireless connection will drop off as soon as you change the wireless key, but I don't think you will need to connect with a wire to restart your browsing. Simply click on the icon which shows wireless connections available and type your new wireless key. This will get you surfing again no problem.
