CAR HIRE CANADA

Planning a trip to Nova Scotia next year ( I know it's a long way off, but I need to know if I can save enough !!) and will be looking to hire a 4WD or similar (they call them SUV's). I have trouble getting in and out of ordinary cars hence the reason for a 4WD. (Arthritis in knees and back). Can anyone recommend a reasonably cheap car rental company, but reliable. Any help would be appreciated.
