During a "friendly" argument about tyre safety and wear/punctures I stated that inner tubes were no longer allowable and had been outlawed for quite some time. I'm sure I am right but I need some backup to corroborate my statement, any help would be appreciated. S.O.G

Or look online, maybe Google or (am guessing) DVLA might have a link/info giving you confirmation as to the current law(s).
Or ring DVLA/Quickfit ?

Thank you all for your answers.I stand corrected on the outlaw statement. The main reason I asked this question is because my car has " alloy?" wheels and two of the wheels need to be topped up every ten days or so. I consulted with my local wheeler dealer and he said it was due to corrosion on the inner rim which was causing the leakage
