Rolls Royce (Flying Angel?)
9 Answers
My friend has what she thinks is a Flying Angel which was used in a Rolls Royce showroom. I've been to see it and it is mounted on a marble plinth and stands about two feet in height and is extremely heavy, it's possibly made from brass although the colour looks more silvery to me. When her husband was alive she thinks he bought it from America. As she is probably having to downsize she wondered if it was worth anything and how she would go about selling it (preferably not Ebay), possibly to a Rolls Royce enthusiast. I said I would pose the question on Answerbank to see if anyone could help. Many thanks to anyone who can help. I will keep checking this post to see if anyone can help.

if it has Charles Sykes signature on the base looks like it's worth a decent amount.

Thank you Mr Veritas for your comments. It was not something I had thought about, but you're right, they are always unscrupulous people ready to rip you off, especially as my friend is a widow and doesn't know anything about the value of the 'lady'.
bushbaby_de, I was so sure it musty be Australia. Have you been there? If you have I bet you didn't want to come home.
