I have a problem with my brakes. The other day I noticed that on gentle pressing of the peddle it would end up on the floor. Tried bleeding the system now i have no brakes at all. Can anyone shed some light on the problem for me please.

vehicle type ?
Possibly the brake master cylinder. These don't always leak when faulty as the fluid just passes the piston but doesn't leak out of the cylinder.
yes - your rubbish at bleeding brakes.
Lazy resevoir seal in the Master Cylinder.
When you are bleeding, use some sharp stabs on the pedal. It may fix itself.
