I had a letter Saturday morning about the insurance on one of our cars and I didn't dare drive it till I made sure that everything was sorted out. Next thing we know, you'll be on here moaning about not being able to afford the fine you both get.
Before you know it there'll be a thread saying ...

'my BF caught driving with no license....what will happen yo him'
On the road bobbi :-) still laughing at Dot's reply, clearly not yet got over the hang-gliding episode yesterday....

just I thought caila was from my neck of the woods I would stay in when the BF was driving..LOL
Maybe time to call a truce on this? I think caila has got her answer, I think the points have been well made and I'm sure lessons have been learned.
sox caila please
six,,,now thats not nice..lol
so am I caila...so please drive carefully
You're right Caila, we all make mistakes. I let the tax on my car run out whilst I was in Afghanistan. So I made sure the car was off the road and used up all my minutes for phoning home to ensure the car was declared SORN until I got back on R&R. The moral was that, when I discovered there was a problem I sorted ASAP.
caila I beg to differ i am as near perfect in many areas of my life as a person can be, I open all my mail, always pay my car insurance on time, never forget to leave money in my account for a direct debit and take extra care when dealing with any large company as they often employ idiots,

yes i think everyone at some point has made mistakes ,i know i probably can't make you feel any worse but insurance is a very important thing ,what if your b/f had made a mistake that night took a corner to fast and hid someones car that would have been much worse ! so just thank your lucky stars that you were just pulled by police what ever the outcome its better than what could have happened

i mite not be the brightest button in the pack but im a really nice genuine person
Who's going to find us all and come round and beat us up?
that's ok, I hope we haven't been too hard on you, but you have to take responsibility for your own life and the important things like insurance

I can't believe you lot are taking this seriously.
the best thing now is for you to accept you were as much in the wrong, and go forward with that, knowing you won't be as daft again
