Doesn't seem to matter how old they are, either - seriously old, tiny ladies who can barely see over the steering wheel, limpducks in testosterone-powered flash-mobiles, yummies in child-protecting tanks - they are all the same. They turn their vehicles onto side roads on the wrong side, they take roundabouts without any signals whatsoever, they dive into the side of the road to park without giving any indication of intent. It's a 'me,me,me' culture - here I am, I'm far more important than you, get out of my way. Your rules do not apply to me...I hate them...with a passion.
We noticed that as soon as the sun came out last week & the weather was hotter, the maniacs around here showed their true colours!
One in particular, constantly revved his engine very loudly behind me - I wouldn't mind, but the lights were still red! When they changed to green, I very s-l-o-w-l-y drove off, irritating this silly little boy & his equally silly mate!

No, it's very close. We used to live In Aylesbury where it was all rush, rush, rush - here it is a bit (a lot!) more laid back (and there are millions of old people driving around really slowly). I was driving behind someone today down a country land and when he got to the main road he stopped and then got out of his car. He asked me if I wanted to go around him as he had missed the turning for the golf course. I did so, and then he proceeded to do a U-turn onto the main road. Mad as a bag of snakes!
I think experienced drivers are worse actually society, yes there are a few new drivers who are idiots (mostly young lads who will always be idiots when it comes to driving) but experienced drivers think they know it all and so don't bother concentrating! I admit I'm not a brilliant driver at times but on the whole think I'm ok.
The relevance is that they drive high performance vehicles at ridiculously low speeds.
I remember an instance where I had come off the M25 to go North on the A10. It is a section of duel carriage way, an island then more duel carriage way. On entering the second section of dual carriage was a lorry, a Jag driven by an elderly woman then me. The Jag pulled into the outside lane and I followed, she then drove down the carriage in the outside lane at 40 mph. Why ?, because she was turning right at the next junction half a mile further down the road. She was in a world of her own.
