Don't know - but I saw you twice this week. The day you waved and you drove past me in the village on Tuesday - I crossed the road in front of you by the hairdressers (only had 3 of the kids with me!!). Next step, recognising each other without my car/your helmet!!
Others will confirm, but I am pretty sure that the answer is no. The classifications of vehicles are different and did you not have to say when you applied for your provisional moped licence, what you were going to drive? here are the classifications.

Take a look at the categories on your licence. If 'B' is there, your licence is valid (on a provisional basis) to drive a car from the age of 17.

It makes a change for me to beat you to it, Chris!

Thanx. Sherrard, yep, i was laughing away to myself after i saw you when i waved, i obviously had to take my hand off the handlebar and almost lost my balance in doing so. Ooops! lol. i didn't see you when you were crossing to the hairdressers though, usually if im walking around the village, i will have a small white jack Russell with me and i'll probably be battling with him to get him to walk in a straight line! :-/ how will i know if i see you?
I thought I saw you wobble a bit and I did look in the mirror to make sure you hadn't fallen off!! I've ALWAYS got two 2 year olds with me (one dark haired boy, one blonde haired girl) in a double buggy!! If I'm walking up the hill I'll have a little girl with me too!! (Won't do any more 'if's' - it'll get confusing). If you hear me talking I have a very strong Welsh accent (or so I'm told).

Okey dokey, i'll look out for ya (and listen out for ya) :-)

I also rode past your house the other day, i happened to notice your car parked up in front of a house in burghill, that was the first time i'd ever seen your car. lol. i was amazed that i'd actually managed to spot it. :-)
awww its cute to live near a fellow Aber
Hi cazz - it's only a small place and we keep driving past each other.

Benny - won't be here for much longer, 3 weeks and we will be back in the village (can't wait - it's the ar$e end of nowhere out here!).
Question Author
Lol, love the way you put it, look forward to maybe meeting you sometime in passing. :-)
You guys down Hereford way?
Question Author
Yep. :-)
Did you read the stuff about your licence, too, Benny?!
Question Author
Yeh, i did have a look at the site you posted but got a bit confused, i will look at my licence to see if its got a 'B' on it, i just have to find it first :-/
Didn't you buy a car the other day?

Aren't you doing things in the wrong order?
Question Author
Hopkirk, yes i bought a car the other day, i just wanted to get it ready for when i do get my licence. i'd hate to have my licence and not have a car for a few weeks, it would drive me nuts! but then again it is very frustrating having the car there and not being able to drive it! :-( in a perfect world i would go straight from passing my test to picking up my car but oh well, at least i have it there already so i don't have to faff around with buying a car afterwards. :-)
