BMW M3 Alarm

Have just bought a 2003 M3 - the alarm keeps going off randomly in the day only - I have made sure all the windows and doors are closed securely. The only thing I noticed is it seems to go off when the sun comes out, is it something to do with heat - can anyone help please and make any suggestions?

I take it you've just bought the car privately? Why don't you just contact the previous owner if that is the case? Most previous owners are quite happy to help. Of course if you bought it from a dealer, take it back and let them sort it out! Good luck :-)
