Got a MK 3 2003 Mondeo tdi 130 Estate

I have been told it needs a new fly wheel, went to have a new starter motor and thats what they told me, what would I expect to pay to have this job done ?

they have to take the engine and gearbox out, split them, take the clutch off the engine, remove the flywheel, put the clutch back on reattach it to the gearbox and put it all back into the car.

given the amount of fuss its likely to cost a few quid!

i would also assume that they may want to change the clutch as a precautionary measure & maybe the pressure plate - is the car worth all the cash injection.
