Does anyone know of anything that will kill cigarette smoke inside a house please? Unfortunately I have to live with neighbours' smoke which filters into my bathroom and as the neighbour does not go to work it concentrates during the day. It also depends upon which way the wind is blowing.

They have a right to smoke in their own house so I can do nothing about that, but a remedy for this family who does not smoke would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks.

How does it get into your bathroom?
if it only comes through the bathroom then maybe trying to have one of those sensitive spray things ,(sorry cant remeber the name) but what it does is that you put a timer on it e.g 15mins, then every 15mins it would let out a fragrence that clears the air.
good luck... xxx
You get up early in NZ ponjee....

Fit an extractor fan in your bathroom!
Thats not nice sprinter. The OP was very pleasant.
I have the same problem with my neighbour -i have a door in my bedroom which was once an adjoining door to her cottage. Her side is blocked up and I have a cupboard with a door.My bedroom stinks of fag reek but I cant do anything about i nor would i ever approach her as she as the OP says is entitled to smoke in her own house.I leave my window open all day and also have the Glade plug in which goes off every 15 mins -the fresh air is the best solution but not so much in winter :(
craft, i didnt wake up early. i stayed up. lol
Sorry... nothing to do with the OPs question but I was watching an episode of On The Buses today and Jack and Stan were sitting in the canteen smoking while they were eating, even though I`m a smoker.... I`m glad there is a smoking ban now

People thought I was mad when I made this point. We still can smell it. I havntg found anything that will take away the smell filtering into our house
Under the tort of nuisance they are obliged to take measures to prevent this... however I haven't been involved in this area of law for many years so i would suggest posting on the legal board.
