automatic taxis for bobbi
9 Answers
a few years back an irish lad i knew came out of work after looking for a job for some weeks he started driving as a private hire during the day (cash in hand) while claiming benefit.
one day a call came on the radio for a fare in the town centre, he calls it in and goes off to pick up the fare.
at the back of piccadilly he turns onto the street looking at the numbers sees the building then sees the girl waiting for her taxi.
it is only the girl that did the interview with him at the dhss office in rusholme.
so he slid down the seat with his head out of sight, anyone looking at his cab would have seen a car with no driver going past.
once safely past the building and out of her site he pulls into a side road and phones up the office to tell them he had broken down and they need to send another cab.
anyone that day seeing his car would have thought that manchester had automatic taxis that don't need drivers.
