the point of modern security is so you cant start a vehicle without the key/fob , you cant bypass the immobilser its built into the ECU , if it was that easy all the wonderfull kiddies would be nicking them...most if not all modern stolen cars are taken with keys. As an insurance repairer we are lucky to see a couple of stolen vehicles a year whereas 10 years ago it could be 10-20 a week

Find the spare that should be in the handbook folder, or buy an ECU and parts from eBay.

nope no way of disconnecting unfortunately , at least the price hasn't went up since i took my when one of my keys stopped working in 2005 .
