What is the most most expensive road car ever made?

I mean ones that are available now or have been available recently i.e. I dont mean rare old sports cars!

I presume you mean a road legal production car and not including anything that is plated in gold or suchlike.The McLaren F1 was produced within the last decade and had a pricetag of around �650,000.

As for the fastest, well there is the 1994 Dauer 962 LeMans 0-60mph in 2.6 seconds

But the fastest for top speed, well there are a few, that will top 240mph, including the swedish effort, the Konegsigg, 3 secs 0-60, more horespower than a McLaren F1 and safer than a brick *********, and even although its swedish it's a cracking looking and aweomely drivable motor, but with a few tweaks a Nissan Skyline GTR, could leave it for dead
