screen wash filler tube leaking

Bought a second hnd Nissan. When I tried to top up the screen wash the funnel tube seemed to leak the water everywhere. The tank appears to be full as it will spray onto the windows. Does this just mean the tank as completely full and couldn't take any more water or is there a fault with it?

if it's over-flowing, it's full.. I'm not sure what a funnel tube is.

It doesn't overflow, it leaks out the bottom of the tube that goes into the tank.

Try lagging it with some plumbing tape from B&Q or get another tank, complete with filler tube, from a scrappy.

not sure what model this is but some Nissan washer bottles are mega bucks as they come complete with pump(s)..over £100+
