Faux Pas
9 Answers
Reading Salla's funny faux pas made me remember, a few years ago I was working for a Chartered Surveyor - there was a woman in the Accounts Office who really fancied him (he was nothing to look at) - he was married as was she. At the Christmas office dinner & dance, they danced the night away, she clung to him for dear life.
Anyway, after one too many drinks, I blurted out 'thats what you were doing, staying late after work, you were both practising your dance moves, (to which they both smiled and thought they were the bees knees) and we all thought he was sh**gging you over the desk' - there was a deathly silence - I am not good with drink !!

The woman from Accounts took it as a compliment, she was beaming from ear to ear.
It was only afterwards, I realised why the others were winking at me - not in agreement, but to bring my attention to the fact that 'Mrs. Boss' was standing over by the door waiting to drive my boss home and had heard everything I had said.
