Hello AB'ers.
Well, I'm sure there are many people here who own a car or two, and I'm sure that many will agree with me that the cost of fuel has gone up considerably.
Talk about the most avaricious Government in the whole world!!! Grrrr..... :( :(
All they think about is to how to fleece more money from our hard earned cash that we have slaved for!! Tax this, tax that.Plus an increase in VAT to top it off.
Aaaarggh, when will it end. There's just no stopping this Condem coalition. Hmmmph!

Well, there might be just one small thing that we can do to hit back at them.
How about joining in with me by clicking on the link below, and signing on The Sun's petition to 'Keep Prices Down'.
I have also sent in a coupon too.The more people that sign, the sooner they will get the message. Many thanks for joining in and signing! =) =D

I actually think that Inhotep has done this with a good heart and that there are one or two rather ignorant, ill thought-out, and unnecessarily snobbish and rude responses on here. You people may think you are too intellectual to sign a Sun petition but you're mistaken because the price of fuel affects us all - whether we are drivers or not.

"With the greatest of respect, exhorting people to sign a petition launched by the Sun is unlikely to attract a massive response form the cognoscienti who populate this place"

Having said that Mike, "Sarahs Law" happened to come about by a campaign/petition spearheaded by the "news of the world"!

and seeing that "the sun" sell over a million copies more than its closest rival, maybe it might have an affect? who knows?
''but what to replace it with''

''Viz, cartoonist Graham Dury is quoted as saying: "We pride ourselves on the fact that you're no cleverer when you've read Viz. You might have had a few laughs, but you've not learnt anything".
OK, OK, I know when I'm on the losing side and will retire gracefully.

I only do about 2000 miles a year in my car and an absolute maximum of 2000 miles on my bikes, so from a personal point of view I couldn't really give a tinker's cuss, within reason, how much fuel costs.

But Naomi's right, the cost of fuel does affect everybody - hauliers, who deliver pretty much all of our food, can't absorb the increases and will have to increase their charges which will inevitably result in food prices going up.
I'll sign just as soon as motorists stop parking on pavements.
some ridiculous comments here. I need my car to get to work, I'm not about to stroll along the motorway, nor am I about to fill the empty seats with random strangers.

petrol is expensive but I think the government has considered that raising prices won't make us all happy.
Is there another petition for give us all a thousand quid on our birthdays from Government coffers?

I'll support a petition if it says where the money is going to come from
Done
These increases were implemented in the last Labour governments budget. Nothing to do with the coalition.
Biblebub, are you seriously that stupid? Or was your comment mention as a joke?
