Peugeot 406 Diesel 1998 1.9 coolant warning light

Once the vehicle is started from cold, on accelerating away the coolant warning light comes on, only for a second or so. This started about 2 weeks ago and to date hasn't got any worse. The coolant level seems to be fine with no leeks and the engine is operating at normal temprature. All answers appreciated!

Had similar prob but the STOP light kept coming on.Try following the hose that comes from top of coolant reservoir towards front of engine, it should meet at a junction with 2 other pipes at the top of the engine, somewhere on the 'belts' side of the engine.Where these pipes meet there is a small cap similar to the dust cap on a bicycle, start your engine & get it to normal operation temperature so as to open the thermostat. Then slowly and carefully loosen this cap, it should let air out of your system which can cause a a sensor in the radiator to fault.If u have any other solutions let me know as mine does the same & the air needs released every so often.
